2009 REUNION UPDATE Feb 18
REUNION UPDATE FEBRUARY 18 2009
Rebecca and I went to Charleston to finalize the hotel contract and to get information on tours and sightseeing. There were several problems that we dealt with but the one problem we could not resolve was the date, there was just too much contention and we were forced to reschedule. I know everyone is trying to schedule vacation time and if this change causes you problems I am sincerely sorry. The new date is to start the reunion on Sunday afternoon OCTOBER 04.
The official 2009 reunion will start on Sunday afternoon and end with a banquet dinner on Tuesday evening. Wednesday will be checkout. There will be tours and other activities throughout Monday and Tuesday. For those of you who wish to stay and enjoy the Charleston charm, we will have a special room rate available and self guided group activities on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
There is much to see and do in the Charleston area and we am working to finalize our agenda. Because of the national economic situation many things are changing almost daily. One thing that is changing in our favor is prices. I was able to get a very good 'all inclusive package' from the hotel. In the next few days I will have a signed contract to cover the rooms, the banquet and use of the hospitality room and all other hotel facilities. I should have the final package ready to publish by next week.
I am always available to answer your questions or concerns at PRESIDENT@USSDALE.COM or on my cell phone 1-570-337-8025et from 3:00pm till midnight most nights.
smooth seas
