Scarville - Jeffrey W. Kvammen, 50, of Scarville, died Friday (Dec. 26, 2008) at Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City.

Jeffrey W. Kvammen, son of the late Joseph E. Kvammen and Joyce (Schisel) Steen, was born on June 15, 1958, in Albert Lea, Minn. He attended Forest City High School. He enlisted in the Navy in 1976. He spent the next four years aboard the USS Dale CG-19.
In 1984, he married Debra Thompson, in Lake Mills. The couple resided on a farm near Scarville. Jeff worked 25 plus years at Winnebago Industries until his death.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, watching football and NASCAR.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debra Kvammen; three children, Kim (Jeremy) Berg of Lake Mills, Kelly Menke of Lake Mills and Dustin Menke of Scarville; his mother, Joyce (Arlan) of Sun City, Ariz.; stepmother Sharon Kvammen of Fertile; two sisters and three brothers, Julie (Steve) Gacke of Gilbert, Ariz., Brenda Kvammen of Austin, Minn., Allan Steen of Forest City, Shane (Rhiannon) of Mesa, Ariz., and Scott (Jennifer) Kvammen of Council Bluffs; his grandchildren, Jorden, Drew, Jayde and Madison, all of Lake Mills; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Josie.
He was preceded in death by his father.

Just a side note Jeff and myself shared the same birthday, along with another GMM in our division. OUT of 15 guys in one compartment 3 of us born on the same day.
